What Makes Someone Special?

Throughout our lives we meet all kinds of people, be they friends, relatives, acquaintances through school or work; all manner of social interaction. We most of the time like them, dislike them, or don’t care either way. Every once in a while, though we will meet someone we recognize as ‘special.’ We may not understand why, but when the feeling is mutual it can sometimes lead to a much closer relationship and sometimes a romantic bonding.

Some people would ascribe this to chemistry, pheromones, the alignment of the planets, being on the same wavelength, all kinds of things. I think the wavelength idea is closest. We know, in a very oversimplified explanation, that our brains receive and interpret waves of all types. Sound-waves, light-waves, electrical waves; all helping to define our physical reality. We know also that our brains are giving of electrical signals, extremely faint but measurable just the same. Brainwaves. Sometimes, but not often, at the same wavelength of someone else. “Almost as if you can read my mind.” “Haven’t we met before?” “I knew it was you before the phone even rang.” Things people may say or feel when they are on the same wavelength.

Most often, only one person will recognize this sameness, this specialness. This happens for a variety of reasons which I know I will address in a future follow-up post. However, when two people are on the same wavelength and both recognize it, they will often refer to themselves as “soulmates.” This is appropriate because it is the soul (whatever that is) that recognizes the other soul. This connection originates in the non-physical place* where we are before incarnating into this physical time-space system.

What causes people to be on the same wavelength? I believe that in the nonphysical there exists many entities, each of which is a soul vibrating at a different frequency. Many parts of each may incarnate into the earth system; hence many souls on earth may be from the same non-physical entity and therefore be on the same wavelength. Sometimes, but very rarely, people may recognize and ‘feel’ a connection with someone else because of this. Depending on the circumstances, they may become enamored of the person or simply know that ‘This Person is Special’ and may even go out of their way to tell them if the feeling is strong enough.

That our souls exist and that we are more than our physical body will be addressed in another post if there is sufficient interest. Oh heck, even if there isn’t. Comments are always welcomed

*(place is a physical reference- we do not have a way to describe the non physical reality using our physical based language references)
